Stronachie 10 Year Old is a traditional highland style Single Malt Scotch Whisky from independent bottlers A.D. Rattray. The original Stronachie Distillery was in production until 1928 before being mothballed and lost to history. A.D. Rattray discovered an original 1904 bottle, allowing them to sample and re-create this Scotch using spirit from the similarly remote and high altitude Benrinnes Distillery. A.D. Rattray matures the spirit from Benrinnes in ex-sherry casks for 10 years before bottling in small batches. Lost in time, not in spirit, this first class malt emulates the flavours and profile of the original Stronachie whisky.
