BOWMORE 22 YEARS OLD - 1994 VINTAGE - SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY BY THE SINGLE MALTS OF SCOTLAND

Nose: Sweet-cured bacon, rock pools, and floral hints, with a soft blanket of pine needles and damp twigs. Sea-washed slate and gentle iodine-laden smoke provide a base, with singed coconut and green leaves.

Palate:Big bitter char bursts across the palate, chased by tinned pineapple, blackcurrants, apple sauce and marmalade. Sweet jammy notes sit up against burnt oak and aromatic char.

Finish: Sharp apples and polished oak, sat beside a coal fire.
