The sister to the Black Snake whisky. As with its older brother, Red Snake only comes from top-class, first-fill ex-Bourbon casks. However, unlike its brother, each Red Snake comes from just one single cask.
Tasting Notes: Nose: Toffee banana with a malty notes and a nice allspice layer, as with all the Red Snake range there is a nice hint of charred oak in the background
Palate: Charred toffee bourbon comes to the foreground followed by and almost chocolate banana on the exhale and the malty note is very much there
Finish: As with all the Red Snake the tannins are to a minimum with just a little drying of the cheeks and a little tingle on the tongue. The oak lingers
