This single malt was distilled at Tobermory distillery in 1994 and aged for more than 26 years in a single hogshead, yielding a total of 232 bottles. Deliciously indulgent, with well-balanced savoury and sweet notes making for an intriguing dram.
Tasting Notes: Nose: A side table shines with orange-oil wood polish. On it, sits a new leather satchel of books. A latte, sweetened with almond syrup and dusted with cocoa powder, cools for drinking.
Palate: A vanilla ice-cream and mixed fruit sundae is drenched with butterscotch sauce and topped with crushed, crispy chocolatecovered honeycomb. Golden, crusty granary bread is spread with salted butter and fruit preserve.
Finish: Chocolate biscuits are served alongside a cup of rooibos tea.
