DEANSTON 12 YEARS OLD - 2008 VINTAGE - SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY BY THE SINGLE MALTS OF SCOTLAND

This single malt was distilled at Deanston distillery in 2008 and aged for more than 12 years in a single barrel, yielding a total of 233 bottles. This dram is reminiscent of summer days spent at the funfair, indulging in all manner of tasty treats.

Nose: A selection of sparkling grape and lychee juices are served with cream-filled doughnuts of various flavours – apple, raspberry and custard. There is a floral note on the tail.

Palate: Ice cream float drinks, apple slices & soft pretzels are decadently coated in cinnamon sugar, alongside more of the cream-filled doughnuts.

Finish: Crystalised ginger flecks in an apple sponge cake rest until the end.
