The second release in the 2nd Step Collection is a light-peated mix of bourbon and sherry casks. 52% of the whisky has been aged in first fill oloroso casks.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: First the sherry wood influences and vanilla sweetness followed by little bit of peat
Palate: Spices as cinnamon, clove, and sweet dried fruits like raisins
Finish: Again the peat comes in at the end. Long and lingering finish
