This single malt was distilled at Linkwood distillery in 2010 and matured for more than 10 years in a single ex-bourbon hogshead, yielding a total of 281 bottles. Full of fruit and zest, look no further for a pleasantly refreshing dram.
Tasting Notes: Nose: Immediately, Jelly Baby sweets appear, followed by lemon drops and a freshly-cut green apple on a wooden chopping board. Lemon drizzle sponge cake, cloudy apple juice and a paper bag of apple flavoured boiled sweets follow on.
Palate: Baked apple sponge pudding with runny vanilla custard is enveloped by sparkling apple juice and a citrusy tang of lemon peel. Bursting with fruit and pleasantly gum-tingling.
Finish: A light and bright sparkling mouthfeel dances off to a sharp and zesty finish.
