Distilled at Glentauchers distillery in 2011 and aged for 10 years in a single barrel, which yielded a total of 215 bottles. An unctuous and delightful dram.
Tasting Notes: Nose: A jar of fresh peach slices have been macerated in pear liqueur laced syrup, aromas of baking buttery pastry, pineapple cakes and a tray of candied fruit pieces covered in freshly setting chocolate sit alongside.
Palate: The fruit carries through - peach, pear and candied studs of pineapple. The syrupy sweetness has slight hints of aromatic cinnamon spice in the background. White chocolate shows with a few drops of water. Unctuous and delightful!
Finish: The finish is long, viscous and decadently sweet.
