Distilled at Clynelish distillery in 2011 and aged for 10 years in a single barrel, which yielded a total of 231 bottles. A golden dram carefully balancing sharp sweet notes with savoury sensations. Definitely a dram of two halves!
Nose: A fluted dessert glass of creamy, sharp lemon posset is served with wafer thin, crunchy brandy snap shards. A citrus and pine fragranced candle burns on top of a newly varnished table.
Palate: Toasted rye bread topped with zesty lemon marmalade. Butter roasted salty nuts are mixed with chunks of salted caramel fudge. A sharp but sweet spectrum of flavour balances against salty and savoury.
Finish: The sweet and salty notes tail off to a sharp citrusy end.
