On the nose, it rocks from the tones of young eau-de-vie and the roundness of the long ageing ones with vanilla and lime blossom hints. In the mouth it is not
very spicy and tannic, it is light with jam and marmalade hints.
Famille Vallein-Tercinier Cognac is one of the top Cognac producers in France. The family has a long and rich history in the region, which began with Robin Tercinier settling in Saintonge in 1480. In 1791, Louis Vallein bought the Domaine des Forges, the home of Vallein-Tercinier Cognac, and his grandson Georges Vallein started to sell cognac in 1850. Ever since, the cellar masters belong to the Vallein-Tercinier family and their secrets are passed on from generation to generation. Currently, Louis and Catherine, the fifth generation, are proud of following in the footsteps of their ancestors.
