At A.D. Rattray, they go to great lengths to source interesting and unusual casks which reflect the different styles and nuances of the 6 Scotch whisky regions. These are bottled at their natural strength and colour and without chill-filtration so that all of the wonderful flavours which have developed over years spent in the casks are retained.

This relatively unknown Speysider has been aged for 7 Years in ex-Bourbon cask before maturing another 16months in First Fill Bourbon Casks. Pear drops, sherbet lemons and bubblegum on the nose, while on the palate we find baked apple and custard with tropical fruit notes. A pic ‘n’ mix of flavours full of fizz and zip.
