At A.D. Rattray, they go to great lengths to source interesting and unusual casks which reflect the different styles and nuances of the 6 Scotch whisky regions. These are bottled at their natural strength and colour and without chill-filtration so that all of the wonderful flavours which have developed over years spent in the casks are retained.

This Speysider, distilled in 2007, has been ageing for 8 years in a sherry butt. On the nose, this Glenrothes has toffee, dried fruits and burnt smoked ribs notes. While bottled at cask strength of 64.3%, the palate is smooth, full-bodied and buttery, with a rich, malty backbone. The finish is long, creamy, spicy and warming.
